Our Board of Directors

ISEAL is governed by our Board of Directors and managed on a day-to-day basis by our Executive Director and Leadership Team.

The Board of Directors ensures that ISEAL stays true to its charitable mission, works within the law, manages its resources prudently and delivers its mission effectively. 

The Board meets at least three times per year and is advised by three committees: the Executive Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Nominations Committee. In addition, a Membership Committee and Technical Committee report to the board and have independent decision-making powers. 

Our Board currently includes representatives from seven of our member organisations, four external representatives and is chaired by Monika Weber-Fahr.

ISEAL Technical Committee

The ISEAL Technical Committee is responsible for technical oversight of the ISEAL Credibility Principles, the ISEAL Code of Good Practice and other credibility guidance. The committee brings together representatives from ISEAL Community Members and external stakeholders who have a strong overall understanding of sustainability systems. The Technical Committee has responsibility for the development and maintenance for our credibility tools. 

The Leadership Team

Our senior leadership team directs our day-to-day work around the world. It’s made up of the Executive Director and four Directors and brings together a diverse and international collection of talents.
