Sustainability systems are market-based tools designed to address the most pressing social and environmental challenges of our time. They define responsible practices, assess the implementation of these practices, and measure and communicate results. Sustainability systems are used in sectors worldwide to improve social and environmental performance. This ISEAL training course, consisting of three 2-hour online sessions, will provide you with an understanding of the core elements of a sustainability system.

The Living Income Community of Practice (LICOP) will host its annual in-person regional workshop in New Delhi, India, on 19–20 November 2026. This workshop will showcase practical experiences from India and beyond, highlight emerging evidence and lessons, and create space for dialogue on how living income approaches can support national priorities related to agricultural development and prosperity. It will also help align ongoing initiatives and foster coordinated action among key stakeholders.

There are many ways to move towards a living income through policy levers. One is by integrating living income into market policy. A prominent example of this is the integration of the living income into the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD). In this workshop, we will unpack how they can be translated to similar initiatives, as well as share other examples of advocacy.
