IDH has been working with ISEAL since 2017 on projects related to Living wage, decent work, and auditing. The current project with IDH and ISEAL focuses on verification of living wages, to support credible living wage claims.
Current programme: Developing guidance on living wage verification and guidelines for companies to make informed decisions on their selection of service providers responsible for the verification of living wage gaps and payments.

Programme summary
IDH and ISEAL are cooperating to develop guidance for living wage verification providers and company guidelines for credible living wage verification when selecting these providers.
In 2025, IDH commissioned ISEAL to undertake desk research and interviews with key stakeholders, including private businesses, verification providers and Living Wage experts to improve understanding of current living wage verification processes and the requirements for credible living wage verification, in order to develop guidance for verification of living wage processes and provide guidelines for companies when selecting verification providers.
