An ISEAL dialogue in São Paulo, Brazil to inform collaboration, transformation and future priorities.

Brazil plays a pivotal role in global supply chains and is central to global debates on sustainability, climate change and human rights. Over the past two decades, the country has served as an important testing ground for market-based sustainability systems, offering valuable lessons on how standards, certification, public policy and collaborative approaches can drive sustainable production and trade. 

Across these experiences, a key message emerges: progress depends not on any single tool or intervention, but on collaboration, alignment and a shared commitment to practical implementation that delivers tangible outcomes for producers, businesses and communities

This ISEAL dialogue will bring together sustainability systems, businesses, government representatives, international organisations, researchers and other key stakeholders to explore what works in delivering impact in Brazil. Through knowledge exchange, relationship-building and forward-looking discussions, participants will examine implementation challenges and opportunities, share lessons from across sectors, and identify priorities for future collaboration to support more sustainable and resilient supply chains.
