ISEAL is seeking a consultant to conduct research on the nature of support that our members and their stakeholders and partners need in order to scale pilot and early-stage projects into sustainable long-term initiatives. For the purposes of this research, scaling is defined as the process of extending, deepening, or expanding the use of an innovation to maximise its impact. Different strategies can be used to scale an innovation. Scale can be achieved by expanding to reach a greater number of people, or new geographical locations and contexts. Scaling can also include growing, replicating or adapting an innovation to maximise impact.
The research will help shape upcoming work targeted at scaling promising innovative projects and initiatives, including an Innovations Fund grant round, which will support previously funded innovative projects to explore how to make their innovations sustainable in the long run.
