This document contains the agreed version of the ISEAL Code v1.0. Following recommendation for by the ISEAL Technical Committee, this was approved by the ISEAL Board on 29 November 2023. When reviewed alongside the summary of feedback received during the consultation period, it demonstrates the result of how input during the consultation was taken into account.

ISEAL is seeking qualified individuals to join the ISEAL Code of Good Practice Steering Group. The revision and integration of the ISEAL Codes of Good Practice into one Code of Good Practice enables a holistic view on system credibility, which provides an opportunity to improve the value of Code Compliant status for ISEAL Code Compliant organisations and their stakeholders. Producers are a key stakeholder group that will be affected by changes made in the ISEAL Code of Good Practice, particularly where requirements would impact how sustainability systems interact with and affect producers. We solicited feedback from this stakeholder group on the direction of the second draft of the ISEAL Code through a workshop hosted by Proforest in Indonesia in August 2023. This document provides a summary of the feedback received in the workshop and how it informed the development of the ISEAL Code.
